APPLICATION PROCEDURE AND REQUIREMENTS

• Please note that acceptance into Grade One at Summerwood Primary School is not guaranteed.
• Please PRINT in CAPITALS and complete ALL
• Please supply both a physical address as well as a postal address if applicable.
• The supply of false information will invalidate this application.
• This procedure has been accepted as part of the School’s Admission Policy by Beachwood Pre-Primary School’s Governing Body in terms of Section 5(5) of the South African Schools Act No. 84 of 1996.
• This application form will ONLY be accepted if ALL the documents, (as requested below), have been attached:
• Identity Documents – copies of BOTH PARENTS (if a parent is deceased, a copy of the death certificate must be supplied).
• Copy of Identity Document of the ACCOUNT PAYER (if other than parent).
• Proof of residence – not older than three months (e.g. Municipal account).
• Birth certificate – copy of child’s certificate.
• Clinic card – copy of child’s card.
• Photograph of child – one passport size photograph.

IF YOUR APPLICATION IS SUCCESSFUL:

• You will receive an Acceptance letter with a Reply Form and School Fee Agreement Form
• Kindly sign the Acceptance Reply Form and School Fee Agreement Form and return it to the secretary’s office by the date stipulated in the Acceptance Reply Form.
• A non-refundable deposit is payable , which will be communicated upon acceptance at Beachwood Pre – Primary School.

This amount is only payable if your application is successful).

Beachwood Pre-Primary School is a fee-paying school (South African Schools’ Act Section 40+41) and parents are expected to pay the fees in full, according to the arrangements agreed to on the Acceptance Form.  ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE HANDED IN AT THE BEACHWOOD OFFICE:

Late applications will only be considered if a vacancy exists.
