Academic Programme

Our children learn through a variety of play-centred activities and they are given the opportunity to express themselves creatively in our music and art lessons.

Our daily programme takes into account the social, motor, emotional, spiritual and academic needs of each individual child.

Our weekly routine for Grade R and Grade O incorporates a music lesson and an isiXhosa lesson which are done at the Pre-School by subject specialists.

Our Grade R classes have a weekly computer lesson (Knowledge Network) which takes place in the Summerwood Primary School’s Computer Lab. Beachwood is located on the Summerwood School premises.
